Arcana Info is looking for a Cloud Software Developer – OpenShift to join its innovative team in Civil Lines, Karachi. You will work with cutting-edge technologies such as Kubernetes, Docker, and Red Hat OpenShift while helping organizations build scalable and secure systems.

As a Cloud Software Developer, you’ll play a key role in designing, deploying, and maintaining cloud-native applications. You will be responsible for configuring OpenShift clusters, implementing microservices architectures, and containerizing applications using Docker. This role requires a mix of development, system-level knowledge, and DevOps capabilities, along with a willingness to explore emerging technologies such as AI/ML and infrastructure automation.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and build cloud-native applications using Red Hat OpenShift.

• Containerize apps with Docker and manage deployments on Kubernetes clusters.

• Implement microservices architectures with a focus on scalability and modularity.

• Develop applications using Java, Python, Go, or Node.js.

• Configure and maintain OpenShift clusters and support Operators for efficient deployment.

• Collaborate within DevOps teams to automate deployment pipelines and manage CI/CD workflows.

• Troubleshoot complex technical issues across distributed systems.

• Document solutions and communicate effectively with local and global teams.

Required Technical Expertise:

• Hands-on experience with Unix/Linux-based systems (C, C++, GoLang).

• Strong understanding of network protocols (Layer 2–5), routers, firewalls, VPNs.

• Expertise in virtualization technologies such as KVM, z/VM, Hyper-V.

• Familiarity with enterprise-grade servers, firmware configurations, and OS internals.

• Skilled in problem-solving, troubleshooting, and technical documentation.

• Comfortable leading or mentoring development/support teams.

Preferred Certifications:

• Red Hat Certified OpenShift Developer

• Cloud Pak for Integration – Certified

Preferred Experience:

• Deep understanding of system hardware and architecture.

• Knowledge of OS internals, including process/memory management, I/O systems, and security.

• Exposure to AI/ML model deployment and lifecycle management tools.
