Cloud Engineer

Description:

Leading Folks is looking for an SRE / Cloud Engineer to help build, scale, and operate the infrastructure behind a high-transaction, real-time platform serving the GCC.

This role is for engineers who stay calm when systems get loud.

You’ll be deeply involved in shaping production reliability, automation, observability, and infrastructure scalability. If you think in terms of uptime, incident response, resilient architecture, and repeatable automation, you’ll fit right in.

What you’ll do

Design and operate highly available cloud infrastructure

Improve production reliability, uptime, and operational efficiency

Build and maintain Infrastructure as Code, ideally with Terraform

Automate deployments and operational workflows

Strengthen monitoring, alerting, and observability practices

Optimize cloud costs without sacrificing performance

Improve infrastructure and application security

Lead incident response, RCA, and postmortems

Collaborate with engineering teams on scalability and production readiness

Drive SRE practices including SLIs, SLOs, and error budgets

We’d like to hear from you if you have

4+ years in SRE, Cloud Engineering, or DevOps

Strong hands-on experience with AWS, GCP, OCI, or Azure

Strong command of Docker + Kubernetes

Experience with Terraform

CI/CD and automation tooling experience

Background in observability tools like Datadog, Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, or similar

Solid Linux administration skills

Scripting ability in Python, Bash, or Go

Strong understanding of networking fundamentals, HA architecture, and disaster recovery

Experience running production systems at scale
