A global sustainability technology, advisory, and implementation company, including ESG and climate reporting, GHG accounting, sustainability platform enablement, and climate finance advisory for businesses, investors, and governments across the US, Europe, and Pakistan.
Role Introduction:
You'll own ESG and climate reporting for clients, from GHG accounting and materiality assessments to platform onboarding, training, and account management, acting as the primary point of contact for client success. This is a foundational hire with real scope to shape the role as the business scales.
Requirements:
- Own the preparation and quality of ESG and sustainability reports aligned with global and jurisdictional standards.
- Lead GHG accounting and emissions calculations (Scope 1, 2, and 3) and climate analysis.
- Availability and flexibility for local and international travel for client delivery and business development.
- Lead platform demos and walkthroughs for existing clients and deliver compelling product demonstrations.
- Design and deliver client training and capacity-building sessions, ensuring clients adopt the platform effectively.
- Own client relationships and account management through strong stakeholder engagement and expectation management.
- Drive and generate client success through consistent, high-quality delivery and measurable outcomes.
- Define, measure, and report client success and commercial metrics, including turnaround time (TaT).
- Lead platform User Acceptance Testing (UAT) for client-facing features.
- Translate recurring client needs and the evolving ESG, sustainability, and Net Zero reporting landscape into product feedback.
- Liaise with internal Product and Data teams to align on platform governance and data processing.
- Support clients in improving climate finance readiness by strengthening governance processes and donor-readiness.
Specifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Environmental/Energy Engineering, Environmental Sciences, or Sustainability (or related field).
- Proven experience with sustainability and ESG reporting frameworks/standards, including GRI, IFRS S1/S2, CSRD/ESRS, and TCFD.
- Demonstrated experience delivering software demos, client training, and capacity-building sessions.
- Experience owning account management and end-to-end project delivery.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint; familiarity with Power BI or other data visualization tools.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a structured approach to ESG and emissions data.
- Excellent report-writing and communication skills, particularly in client-facing environments.
- Experience with ESG or climate data platforms is a strong plus.
- 3-4 years of relevant experience, including a demonstrated track record in a client-facing role.
