Description:
We are seeking a client-facing AI / ML Tech Lead to support our staff augmentation and project delivery model. This role is designed for professionals who can bridge the gap between clients and engineering teams, conduct technical discovery, and close AI/ML-focused engagements by aligning client needs with the right technical talent.
The ideal candidate understands AI/ML workflows, can confidently lead technical conversations with international clients, and excels at shadow profiling engineers, project scoping, and solution alignment rather than day-to-day coding.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead client discovery, onboarding, and technical requirement-gathering calls for AI/ML projects
- Act as a technical closer, helping convert client requirements into staff augmentation or project-based engagements
- Perform shadow profiling of AI/ML engineers to ensure accurate skill-to-project matching
- Translate business problems into AI/ML solution outlines, timelines, and resource plans
- Support sales and account teams in technical validation and proposal alignment
- Present technical approaches, architecture overviews, and delivery strategies to clients
- Coordinate with internal engineering teams to ensure smooth onboarding and delivery
- Oversee ongoing engagements to ensure client satisfaction, scope clarity, and continuity
- Assist in developing case studies, pitch decks, and solution briefs for AI/ML offerings
Required Skills & Experience:
- 4–6 years of experience in AI, ML, or data-driven engineering environments
- Strong understanding of AI/ML project lifecycles, model development, and deployment concepts
- Experience working in client-facing or pre-sales technical roles
- Ability to assess and map skills in areas such as:
- Machine Learning / Deep Learning
- NLP / Computer Vision
- Data Engineering & MLOps
- Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS / GCP / Azure) and AI deployment practices
- Solid grasp of Agile delivery models and remote team coordination
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
