Civil Engineer

Description:

An exciting short-term opportunity is open for a Civil Engineer or experienced Site Supervisor to lead and manage the complete construction of a private house project located in Al-Wahab Garden near Kot Abdul Malik, Lahore. This role is ideal for a hands-on professional who can take full ownership of site supervision and project execution with minimal oversight.

You will act as the owner's representative, ensuring the construction progresses efficiently, quality standards are maintained, and the project completes within the targeted 2-month timeline. Flexibility is offered in terms of working remotely, though Lahore-based candidates are strongly preferred due to the on-ground nature of the role.

Key Responsibilities:

• Independently supervise daily construction operations on-site

• Coordinate and lead all labor resources including mason (mistri), general labor (mazdoor), electrician, plumber, carpenter, etc.

• Make real-time site decisions regarding execution, material usage, and technical adjustments

• Monitor quality of work, adherence to safety practices, and ensure cost efficiency

• Provide regular updates to the owner and maintain open communication

• Solve operational challenges and prevent unnecessary delays

• Ensure project completion within or ahead of the 2-month deadline

Candidate Requirements:

• Degree in Civil Engineering or extensive hands-on experience in house construction supervision

• Strong site leadership, coordination, and problem-solving abilities

• Self-driven individual capable of managing all aspects of on-site execution independently

• Ability to efficiently handle communication with labor teams and vendors

• Lahore-based preferred, though candidates with strong remote coordination experience are welcome
