Civil Engineer

 

Description:

In view of the Group’s extensive expansion program, it is now looking for a Civil Engineer with relevant professional experience in leading the Civil Engineering, planning and design management process of its multidisciplinary projects.

The position is based at the Karachi Office and would require visits to ongoing projects and meetings around the country. It would also require interactions with the clients, contractors, relevant authorities, and other project stakeholders. Depending exclusively on the individual’s performance the position leads to possible confirmation as a Director with prospects of eventual stakeholding within the corporate structure of the Group.

Key Responsibilities:

To lead a competent Civil Engineering team of design professionals, who are specialized in areas of structural engineering, roads, water supply / sewerage, storm water etc. Provide leadership to this team, in its design management, multi-disciplinary coordination, client-management as well as business development efforts, while ensuring the profitability of this business unit with a demonstrable vision for its future advancement.

Position Requirements:

  • Relevant experience in leading the planning and design management process of large-scale Civil Engineering infrastructure projects.
  • Core design background to be in Civil/Infrastructure Engineering.
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering from a recognized university.
  • Post-graduation and international qualifications shall be accorded appropriate significance.
  • Large-scale project delivery experience is necessary.
  • Ability to interact with clients with a result-oriented approach.
  • Professional attitude and presentable personality.
  • Interpersonal, leadership, communication, and team building skills.
