Description:
Role Overview: We are seeking an exceptional Chief Technology Officer (CTO) to drive the technology strategy for an innovative health tech startup. Responsibilities include establishing and leading a world-class development team, and overseeing the creation of the prototype & MVP. Reporting directly to the executive leadership, the CTO will closely collaborate with medical advisors and product teams.
Responsibilities:
- Define and execute the technological vision, strategy, and roadmap aligned with our overall innovation goals.
- Oversee product development processes including architecture, infrastructure, cybersecurity, and adherence to data privacy compliance standards (e.g., HIPAA, GDPR).
- Recruit, build, and mentor a high-caliber engineering and product development team.
- Ensure technological scalability, security, and reliability across the telemedicine platform.
- Partner closely with medical experts, UX/UI designers, and product managers to deliver outstanding user experiences.
- Evaluate and integrate cutting-edge technologies to maintain a competitive advantage.
- Manage technology-related budgets, timelines, and resource planning effectively.
Requirements:
- Extensive experience as a CTO or senior technology executive, preferably within startup or growth-oriented environments.
- Strong software engineering and technical leadership background, including hands-on experience developing scalable digital platforms.
- Deep knowledge of cloud architecture, cybersecurity frameworks, data privacy laws, and regulatory compliance (specific experience with health-tech regulations like HIPAA is highly desirable).
- Proven capability to effectively manage and grow distributed and remote teams.
- Exceptional problem-solving abilities, strategic insight, and excellent communication skills.
- Entrepreneurial mindset, comfortable operating in dynamic startup environments.
