Description:
We are currently seeking a qualified Chartered Accountant to join our team at The Throne Chasers SMC-Private Limited. The ideal candidate should possess strong financial acumen, analytical skills, and a thorough understanding of accounting principles and practices.
Responsibilities:
- Manage financial accounting tasks, including the preparation of financial statements, ledger entries, and reconciliation of accounts.
- Handle tax returns, including sales tax and income tax filings, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and laws.
- Conduct audits of financial systems, practices, and procedures to ensure accuracy and adherence to standards.
- Prepare financial projections and forecasts to assist in decision-making and strategic planning processes.
- Provide expertise in banking and finance matters, including managing cash flows, loans, and investments.
- Collaborate with internal teams to analyze financial data, identify trends, and make recommendations for improvement.
- Stay updated on changes in accounting standards, tax laws, and regulations, ensuring compliance and best practices.
- Assist in special projects and initiatives as needed to support the overall financial objectives of the company.
Requirements:
- CA Inter qualification with an M.Com degree.
- Strong knowledge and experience in financial accounting, tax returns, audit procedures, and financial forecasting.
- Familiarity with banking and finance matters, including banking operations, loans, and investments.
- Preferably 1-2 years of experience in the shipping and logistics industry.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail and accuracy.
- Proficiency in accounting software and MS Office applications.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
