Category Manager

Key Responsibilities:

As the Category Manager – Non-Fuel Retail, you will be responsible for developing and executing category strategies to drive sales, profitability, and customer engagement. You will manage a broad portfolio of non-fuel retail products such as convenience store items, lubricants, car care products, and other ancillary services across our retail outlets.

· Develop and implement category plans in line with business objectives.

· Manage product assortment, pricing, and promotional strategies to maximize sales and margins.

· Conduct market research and consumer insights to identify growth opportunities and trends.

· Lead vendor negotiations, procurement planning, and supplier relationship management.

· Monitor category performance through sales analytics and KPIs.

· Collaborate with Marketing, Supply Chain, and Retail Operations teams to execute initiatives effectively.

· Ensure compliance with company policies, HSE standards, and regulatory requirements.

 

Requirements:

· Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Supply Chain, or related field.

· Minimum 5–7 years of relevant experience in Category Management, merchandising, or retail operations preferably in petroleum retail sectors or FMCG.

· Strong analytical and commercial acumen with a proven track record of delivering results.

· Excellent negotiation, communication, and stakeholder management skills.

· Proficiency in MS Office and data analysis tools.

Travel: Willingness to travel as required for business meetings, client visits, and industry events.
