Freight Genie is seeking a highly motivated and results-driven cold caller to join our lead generation team. As a cold caller, you will be responsible for contacting and vetting (shipper) leads generated by our lead generation department. The ideal candidate will have exceptional communication skills, a positive attitude, and a proven track record of achieving targets in a fast-paced environment.
- Make outbound calls to shipper leads generated by our lead generation team.
- Engage in conversation with the leads to identify their needs and vet them for quality.
- Update our database (Google Sheet) with a list of vetted shipper leads and update the statuses of each lead as a good lead or a bad lead with descriptions and additional information.
- Maintain detailed and accurate records of all calls and leads.
- Achieve daily and weekly targets for the number of connections and conversations with shippers.
- Collaborate with the lead generation team to improve lead quality and conversion rates.
- At least 1-2 years of experience in cold calling, preferably in the freight/transportation industry.
- Excellent English verbal communication skills and the ability to build rapport over the phone.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, goal-oriented environment.
- Proficient in using Google/Excel Sheets, CRM systems, and other software tools.
- Ability to handle rejection and remain positive and persistent in the face of challenges.
- Self-motivated and able to work independently as well as part of a team.
