C# Developer

As a C# Developer at Custom Software, you will become an integral part of our team focused on advancing Laboratory Information Management Systems (LIMS) for healthcare institutions across Ireland. Responsibilities:

Collaborate with software architects and product owners to understand project requirements and objectives.

Design, develop, test, and maintain C# applications, services, and systems.

Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code while adhering to coding standards and best practices.

Troubleshoot and debug software defects and issues.

Optimize applications for performance and scalability.

Participate in code reviews to ensure code quality and knowledge sharing among the development team.

Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies to continuously improve skills and knowledge.

Document software designs, development processes, and project specifications.

Provide technical support and guidance to team members and stakeholders.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).

Proven experience as a C# Developer or similar role.

Strong proficiency in C# and the .NET framework.

Experience with software development methodologies (Agile, Scrum, etc.).

Knowledge of database systems (SQL Server, MySQL, etc.).

Excellent problem-solving and debugging skills.

Strong communication and teamwork abilities.

Attention to detail and a passion for writing clean, maintainable code.
