C++ Developer

Role Description This is a full-time, on-site C++ Developer role based in Lahore. The C++ Developer will design, implement, and maintain high-performance software components that power Avanza’s digital platforms and services. Daily responsibilities include writing clean and efficient C++ code, debugging and optimizing existing modules, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to integrate back-end services and APIs. The role also involves participating in code reviews, contributing to architectural discussions, documenting technical solutions, and ensuring that software meets quality, security, and performance standards. The developer will work closely with product owners and QA engineers to deliver reliable solutions aligned with client and business requirements.

Qualifications

• Strong foundation in Computer Science, including data structures, algorithms, and operating systems.
• Proficiency in Programming and Object-Oriented Programming (OOP), with hands-on experience in C++.
• Experience in Software Development and Back-End Web Development, including APIs and integration with services.
• Knowledge of software engineering best practices such as version control (e.g., Git), testing, and continuous integration.
• Ability to analyze requirements, design technical solutions, and troubleshoot complex issues.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field; advanced degrees or relevant certifications are a plus.
• Familiarity with distributed systems, databases (SQL/NoSQL), and Linux-based development environments is beneficial.
• Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to collaborate effectively in a team-oriented environment.
