Business Unit Head

Description:

This is not a traditional corporate management role. We are looking for an established international textile trader with an existing network of global buyers and reliable sourcing mills. Working directly with the founders, you will own the end-to-end P&L, build your own team, and turn Global TradeX into a major player in international textile trading.

Key Responsibilities

Network Utilization: Leverage your established international buyer network to secure immediate sales channels and long-term supply contracts.

Strategic Sourcing: Establish direct partnerships with reliable, quality-vetted textile manufacturers and mills.

P&L Ownership: Drive market entry strategies, pricing models, contract negotiations, and profit margins to achieve revenue targets.

Trade Operations: Oversee end-to-end export execution, international trade compliance, shipping logistics, and payment terms (LCs, credit lines).

Team Building: Recruit, structure, and lead a high-performing global sales and sourcing team as the division scales.

Requirements & Qualifications

10+ years of active experience in international textile export and trading (Yarn, Fabric, Home Textiles, or Garments).

Proven, transferable global buyer network in target markets (North America, Europe, GCC, etc.).

Vetted manufacturer/supplier relationships in major production hubs.

Expert knowledge of international trade finance (LCs, CAD), incoterms, global logistics, and quality control standards.

Track record of building a trading book or department from zero to profitability.
