Description:
Alkuobond is looking for a commercially driven International Business Development Manager to lead the development of our international export markets for Aluminum Composite Panels (ACP).
This role is ideal for someone who understands international trade, export markets, B2B sales, and customer acquisition, and can independently identify where our products have the strongest commercial potential.
Key Responsibilities:
- Research international markets and identify countries with strong demand and potential for ACP products.
- Analyze market size, competition, pricing, import requirements, logistics, and other factors to identify the most profitable markets.
- Develop a clear understanding of our ACP products, applications, competitive advantages, and target customers.
- Recommend which countries Alkuobond should export to and why, including estimated pricing, costs, margins, and profit potential.
- Identify and approach potential importers, distributors, dealers, contractors, façade companies, fabricators, builders, and other B2B customers.
- Acquire and develop international customers and generate qualified sales opportunities.
- Build relationships with international clients and develop new markets from the ground up.
- Have strong knowledge of export procedures, documentation, Incoterms, shipping, customs, duties, payment terms, and international trade requirements.
- Monitor international market trends and continuously identify new export opportunities.
- Work closely with the sales/commercial team to transition qualified customers and opportunities into sales.
Requirements:
- Experience in International Business Development, Export Sales, or International Trade.
- Strong knowledge of international exports and B2B customer acquisition.
- Experience in ACP, aluminum, construction materials, building materials, façade products, or a related industry is highly preferred.
- Strong market research, analytical, negotiation, and communication skills.
- Ability to independently research markets and turn findings into practical business opportunities.
- Proactive, target-driven, and comfortable developing international markets from scratch.
