Description:
We are seeking a motivated and results-driven Business Development Executive to help us grow our presence and client base on Upwork and other freelancing platforms. You will be responsible for identifying business opportunities, writing compelling proposals, nurturing client relationships, and driving revenue growth.
Responsibilities:
- Identify and target potential clients on Upwork and similar platforms.
- Create and optimize Upwork profiles and proposals to increase visibility and win rates.
- Write customized, high-converting proposals for different types of projects.
- Communicate with potential clients to understand project requirements and present tailored solutions.
- Negotiate pricing, timelines, and deliverables.
- Maintain strong follow-ups and convert leads into long-term clients.
- Collaborate with internal teams (design, development, marketing, etc.) to understand offerings.
- Track and report performance metrics
- Research and analyze industry trends to improve sales strategy.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in business development, sales, or Upwork bidding.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong understanding of online freelancing platforms, especially Upwork.
- Ability to write persuasive proposals and respond to client queries effectively.
- Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
- Knowledge of digital services (e.g., web development, design, marketing, etc.) is preferred.
