We are seeking a Business Development Executive with strong communication and persuasion skills to help drive our B2B client acquisition process and strengthen Alibaba's local presence.

As a BDE, you will play a crucial role in identifying, approaching, and onboarding local exporters, manufacturers, and wholesalers, introducing them to Alibaba’s global trade platform. Your daily tasks will involve lead generation, client presentations, and pipeline management to ensure sales targets are met.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Prospect and generate leads by identifying businesses with B2B export potential

  • Conduct outreach through calls, visits, and networking to pitch Alibaba B2B services

  • Present Alibaba platform benefits, pricing, and service packages to potential clients

  • Maintain regular follow-ups and close deals to meet monthly sales KPIs

  • Work closely with the marketing and operations teams to ensure smooth client onboarding

  • Maintain accurate CRM records of client interactions and sales activities

  • Represent the company in business exhibitions and Alibaba-related events


Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field

  • 1–3 years of proven experience in B2B sales or business development

  • Strong negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills

  • Self-motivated, target-driven, and able to work independently

  • Understanding of Alibaba, B2B eCommerce, or international trade is a plus
