Description:
We are hiring a proactive and growth-focused Business Developer who has hands-on experience with Upwork and Fiverr and understands how to generate, manage, and close leads through freelancing platforms. This is a startup role ideal for someone who wants to grow with the company, contribute strategically, and earn through performance-based incentives.
Key Responsibilities:
• Identify, bid, and apply for relevant projects daily on Upwork and Fiverr
• Handle client communication, negotiations, and deal closures
• Create and execute business development strategies for platform-based growth
• Explore and suggest new freelancing platforms (Freelancer, etc.) for lead generation
• Maintain consistent follow-ups and nurture leads to conversion
• Work across multiple business development niches
• Track performance, conversions, and revenue growth
• Contribute ideas at a strategic level to scale the startup
Requirements:
• 6 months to 1 year of hands-on experience with Upwork and Fiverr
• Strong understanding of bidding, proposals, and profile optimization
• Knowledge of business development strategies and sales funnels
• Excellent communication and client-handling skills
• Ability to work independently in a startup environment
• Experience with other platforms (Freelancer, etc.) is a plus
