We are seeking a skilled Business Analyst with a strong background in Request for Proposals (RFPs) to join our team. As a Business Analyst, you will play a crucial role in analysing business processes, gathering requirements, and managing RFP processes to support our organization's growth and success. Your expertise in RFPs and your ability to effectively communicate with stakeholders will be vital in driving successful project outcomes.
- Management: Lead the end-to-end RFP process, including analyzing RFP requirements, RFP coordinating cross-functional teams, and ensuring timely submission of high-quality proposals. Collaborate with sales, technical, and subject matter experts to gather information, develop proposal content, and address client needs.
- Requirements Gathering and Analysis: Conduct interviews and workshops with stakeholders to understand business needs, document requirements, and define scope. Analyze and translate requirements into functional specifications and user stories, ensuring alignment with project objectives.
- Process Improvement: Identify opportunities to improve existing business processes, workflows, and systems. Work closely with stakeholders to streamline processes, increase efficiency, and optimize resource allocation.
- Data Analysis: Analyze and interpret complex data sets to identify trends, patterns, and insights. Present findings in a clear and concise manner to support data-driven decision-making and strategic planning.
- Stakeholder Management: Collaborate with stakeholders at all levels, including business users, project managers, developers, and executives. Facilitate effective communication, manage expectations, and ensure alignment between business needs and technical solutions.
- Documentation and Reporting: Prepare comprehensive documentation, including business requirements, process flows, use cases, and functional specifications. Generate reports and deliver presentations to communicate project status, key metrics, and recommendations to management and stakeholders.
- Quality Assurance: Assist in defining test scenarios and acceptance criteria. Collaborate with the testing team to ensure the delivered solution meets the defined requirements and quality standards.
- Experience: Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Business Analyst, with a focus on managing RFPs. Experience in the software or technology industry is preferred.
- RFP Expertise: In-depth knowledge and understanding of RFP processes, including requirements analysis, proposal development, and vendor evaluation. Familiarity with various RFP software tools and platforms is a plus.
- Business Analysis Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. Proficiency in gathering and documenting requirements, process modeling, and creating functional specifications. Knowledge of Agile methodologies is desirable.
- Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ability to effectively collaborate with stakeholders, facilitate meetings, and present complex information in a clear and concise manner.
- Data Analysis: Solid understanding of data analysis techniques and tools. Proficiency in Excel or other data analysis software. Experience with data visualization tools is a plus.
- Stakeholder Management: Proven ability to build and maintain relationships with stakeholders at various levels. Strong negotiation and conflict resolution skills.
- Attention to Detail: Strong attention to detail and ability to ensure accuracy in documentation and deliverables.
