Blockchain Engineer

Description:

Funavry is seeking a highly skilled and independent Blockchain Engineer to join their dynamic technology team in Islamabad, Pakistan. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in the end-to-end blockchain development lifecycle, from architecture design and smart contract development to backend systems and web3 integration.

This role offers an advanced technical scope, challenging projects, and the opportunity to work in a fast-paced and competitive environment. The selected individual will design, build, test, and deploy blockchain-based solutions that integrate seamlessly with both frontend and backend components.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the blockchain development process from conception through deployment.

• Map business needs to system architecture and blockchain modules.

• Design, develop, and manage smart contracts on public blockchains such as Ethereum, Binance, Polygon, and Solana.

• Conduct smart contract interaction and security design analysis.

• Create, audit, and review smart contract code.

• Develop backend services that interact with blockchain environments.

• Build and maintain frontend applications with Web3.0 integration.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Minimum 5 years of experience in blockchain and software development.

• Proficient in Solidity and Go for smart contract development.

• Hands-on experience with smart contract deployment, maintenance, and testing on public blockchains.

• Deep knowledge of Ethereum, Binance, Polygon, and Solana ecosystems.

• Strong programming skills in React/Angular, TypeScript, HTML5, CSS3, Bootstrap 5.

• Web3 integration skills using web3.js or similar.

• Proficiency with backend development including Node.js, REST APIs, data structures, and algorithms.

• Experience with both relational (SQL Server, MySQL) and NoSQL (MongoDB) databases.

• Familiarity with version control systems such as Git or SVN.

• Strong problem-solving abilities and the drive to learn and apply new technologies.

• Team player with excellent communication and organizational skills.

Educational Requirements:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or Computer Engineering from a reputable university with strong academic credentials.
