Billing Specialist

We are seeking an experienced Billing & Accounts Receivable Specialist with hands-on knowledge of logistics billing, accounting software, taxation, and sales tax. The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring accurate invoicing, healthy cash flow, and smooth coordination between clients, operations, and accounts.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and review high-volume client invoices using billing or accounting software

• Ensure shipment charges, sales tax, withholding tax, and other applicable taxes are accurately applied

• Maintain complete invoice documentation and organized system records

• Coordinate with operations and accounts teams to resolve missing information and billing discrepancies

• Track outstanding receivables and maintain accurate AR Aging Reports

• Follow up professionally on pending payments and record receipts promptly

• Respond to client billing queries and support timely issue resolution

• Identify billing errors before invoices are finalized

• Ensure accurate, compliant, and timely invoice closure

• Contribute to improved billing processes, reporting, and cash-flow management

Candidate Requirements

• 3–4 years of relevant professional experience required

• Experience in customs clearance, freight forwarding, shipping, or logistics billing strongly preferred

• Proficiency in billing, accounting, ERP, or logistics software

• Strong knowledge of sales tax, withholding tax, invoicing, taxation procedures, and FBR-related requirements

• Experience preparing professional invoices and supporting documentation

• Good command of Microsoft Excel

• B.Com, BBA, Finance, Accounting, or equivalent qualification

• Strong numerical accuracy, communication, organization, and client coordination skills

• Ability to work independently, meet deadlines, and manage multiple priorities

• A proactive mindset with the ability to improve processes and support team objectives
