Alara Healthcare is actively seeking a Billing Associate to join its Lahore-based team and support the operations of a renowned US-based behavioral health organization. This is a full-time, on-site night shift role aligned with CST hours, designed for individuals with a passion for healthcare billing and a commitment to accuracy and performance.

The ideal candidate will bring at least 1 year of experience in US medical billing, preferably within the behavioral health sector, and possess strong familiarity with key billing tools and clearinghouse platforms. This position offers an excellent opportunity to grow in the ever-evolving field of healthcare revenue cycle management.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage end-to-end billing processes for US-based behavioral health clients, ensuring timely and accurate claims submission.

• Utilize medical billing software and portals such as Kareo, Availity, and similar platforms to track and process claims.

• Conduct follow-ups on denied or unpaid claims, resolve billing discrepancies, and ensure compliance with US healthcare standards.

• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure completeness and accuracy of billing documentation.

• Maintain clear communication with insurance companies and clients to facilitate claims processing.

• Meet productivity and quality targets while working independently in a structured night shift setting.

Ideal Candidate Profile:

• Minimum 1 year of hands-on experience in US medical billing; prior work in Behavioral Health billing is highly desirable.

• Strong command of industry-standard billing tools such as Kareo, Availity, and similar platforms.

• Excellent communication and follow-up skills with a proactive, detail-oriented work ethic.

• Ability to adapt to CST working hours and maintain consistent performance during night shifts.

• Familiarity with HIPAA regulations and US insurance procedures is preferred.

• Quick learner, able to thrive in a fast-paced healthcare support environment.
