Description:
We’re looking for a BI Developer with strong expertise in Power BI and Microsoft Fabric to design, develop, and maintain high-quality business intelligence solutions for a global QSR client.
You’ll manage the end-to-end BI development process — from understanding business requirements to delivering insightful, interactive dashboards — ensuring timely, accurate, and secure analytics outcomes that drive real business impact.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the full BI lifecycle — from requirement gathering and modeling to report design, deployment, and maintenance — ensuring timely, high-quality delivery.
- Design and develop enterprise-grade BI dashboards, data models, and analytical workflows using Microsoft Fabric and Power BI.
- Optimize DAX, Power Query (M), and SQL for performance and scalability.
- Ensure robust governance, data accuracy, and compliance across all BI workflows.
- Work closely with finance, operations, and leadership to translate business needs into meaningful insights and KPIs.
- Stay current with new Power BI and Microsoft Fabric capabilities and apply best practices to enhance reporting efficiency and user experience.
- Develop and manage Power BI datasets, dataflows, and dashboards integrated with key business systems (POS, Accounting, ERP).
- Maintain and enhance existing Power BI solutions, ensuring consistency and high performance.
- Provide user training, documentation, and best practices for analytics adoption.
Qualifications
- 4–5 years of experience in Power BI and BI solution development.
- Strong expertise in Microsoft Fabric, Power BI, and Azure Synapse Analytics.
- Proficiency in DAX, Power Query (M), SQL, and Python for data transformations.
- Experience developing and managing enterprise data models and analytical workflows.
- Solid understanding of data governance, performance tuning, and visualization best practices.
- Experience with POS, accounting, or ERP systems in QSR, retail, or hospitality is a plus.
- Excellent communication, analytical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
