Responsibilities:
- Extract, transform, load and clean large data sets to ensure correct, consistent, and usable data.
- Use business intelligence tools to Identify, analyze, and interpret trends or patterns in complex data sets.
- Data and Number validation with source system in effective manner.
- Review and refactor dashboards and reports.
- Have a keen eye for detail and accuracy in data analysis and reporting.
- Conduct predictive analyses to inform future marketing strategies.
- Ability to effectively manage competing priorities in a complex work environment, focusing on high-value activities.
Skills Required:
- Proficiency with computer systems and their algorithms, data management concepts, and OLAP/OLTP database structures.
- Experience in different BI tools and data visualization software, with strong presentation skills.
- Advanced in SQL, ability to write complex queries from scratch & from multiple tables, creating the appropriate joins, extracting, and manipulating data, formatting fields, creating new measures and metrics, etc.
- Working experience in reporting tools such as Oracle Report Builder and SSRS.
- Strong understanding on Database concepts like Functions, Procedures, Packages,
- and Indexes.
- Basic command of Data Integration tools like SSIS, ODI, and Data Stage.
- Analytical, self-motivated, responsible, flexible and with positive work attitude.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office i.e. Excel for data sorting & analysis and Power Point for summarized data presentation.
- Excellent communication skills both written and spoken.
- Familiarity with an Insurance market or industry would be plus.
Qualification & Experience:
- Computer Graduate (BS/BE/CS/CE/SE/IT)
- 3 to 4 years of experience
