Behavior Therapist

The Healers’ Eden is seeking a passionate Behavior Therapist to join our Child & Adolescent Therapy department in Sharafabad, Karachi. This is an exciting opportunity for individuals with a background in psychology, special education, or ABA to work directly with children, especially those with autism or other developmental disorders. As a Behavior Therapist, you will be responsible for designing and implementing behavior intervention plans, conducting one-on-one sessions, and collaborating with parents and other professionals to ensure comprehensive care.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assessment: Conduct assessments to determine the behavioral needs of children, ensuring accurate understanding of each child’s requirements.

• Intervention Planning: Design and implement customized behavior intervention plans based on the individual needs of each child.

• One-on-One Sessions: Conduct one-on-one emotional and behavioral regulation sessions to help children regulate their emotions and behavior.

• Documentation: Maintain detailed records and documentation of progress for each child, ensuring accurate tracking and accountability.

• Collaboration: Work closely with parents, therapists, and other staff members to create a comprehensive care plan that addresses the needs of each child and supports their development.

Eligibility Criteria:

• Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Psychology, ABA, Special Education, or a related field.

• Experience: Experience working with children, particularly those with autism or developmental disorders, is highly preferred.

• Knowledge: Familiarity with ABA (Applied Behavior Analysis) principles is preferred but not required.

• Skills: Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work empathetically and effectively with children and their families.

• Personal Traits: Empathetic, patient, organized, and passionate about helping children develop their full potential.
