Backend Developer Trainee

VertexAI Tec is looking for passionate Backend Developer Trainees who are eager to learn, build, and grow while working on scalable, real-world server-side applications. This is a 3-month on-site training program with a clear path to a full-time Backend Developer role based on performance 🚀

What You’ll Do:

• Assist in building and maintaining server-side logic for web applications
• Support API development and backend services
• Work with SQL / NoSQL databases under expert mentorship
• Collaborate with frontend developers, designers, and product teams
• Participate in agile development cycles and technical learning sessions
• Follow best practices in backend architecture, security, and code quality

What We’re Looking For:

• Basic understanding of backend development fundamentals
• Familiarity with at least one backend language (Python preferred)
• Basic knowledge of APIs and databases
• Strong learning mindset and problem-solving skills
• Good communication and teamwork abilities
• Degree in Computer Science or related field (or fresh graduate)
