Backend Developer

Description:

Codeable is looking for a talented and detail-oriented Backend Developer to join our growing team full-time. You’ll be responsible for building scalable backend systems and APIs that power our applications. The ideal candidate has strong experience in backend frameworks and is comfortable working with Node.js, Python, and JavaScript to deliver secure, efficient, and maintainable code.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain backend services, APIs, and server-side logic
• Integrate third-party services and APIs
• Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code
• Ensure high performance and responsiveness of applications
• Collaborate closely with frontend developers and product teams
• Manage cloud-based deployment environments
• Debug and resolve technical issues in a timely manner
• Maintain database systems and ensure data integrity
• Participate in code reviews and team meetings

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• 2+ years of experience in backend development (freelance or agency work acceptable)
• Strong command of Node.js, Python, and JavaScript
• Proficiency in RESTful API development and integration
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Google Cloud, or similar)
• Familiarity with databases (SQL and NoSQL)
• Understanding of code versioning tools like Git
• Knowledge of authentication protocols (OAuth, JWT, etc.)
• Ability to write clean, maintainable, and secure code
• Strong problem-solving and debugging skills
• Good communication and collaboration skills
