Back End Lead

Description:

INTECH Automation & Intelligence is actively seeking a talented and experienced Back End Lead (NestJS) to join their dynamic and fast-growing team in Lahore. This role is ideal for a technology-driven professional with a strong backend development background, combined with leadership capabilities and a collaborative mindset.

As a Back End Lead, you will play a key role in designing, developing, and maintaining robust backend systems while mentoring team members and ensuring high-quality code standards. You’ll work closely with the frontend team and contribute to full-stack development solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage the backend development lifecycle using NestJS, ensuring scalable and efficient codebase practices

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including frontend developers using Next.js, to create seamless full-stack solutions

• Provide mentorship and technical guidance to junior developers, fostering skill development and best practices

• Utilize PostgreSQL, TypeScript, and Docker to build and deploy reliable backend infrastructure

• Participate in code reviews, performance tuning, and optimization

• Architect backend systems to support evolving product needs and business requirements

• Ensure system security, data integrity, and deployment efficiency

Ideal Candidate Profile:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field

• 5–8 years of experience in backend development with at least 2+ years in a leadership or mentoring role

• Strong hands-on expertise in NestJS, PostgreSQL, TypeScript, and Docker

• Familiarity with Next.js and a good understanding of frontend/backend integration

• Passion for clean code, scalability, and performance optimization

• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
