Key Responsibilities

 

Backend Development & APIs

 

Develop and maintain RESTful APIs using Django / Django REST Framework

 

Build secure, scalable backend architectures

 

Integrate systems with internal microservices and third-party APIs

 

Improve API and backend performance

 

Database Management

 

Work with MySQL and NoSQL databases (DynamoDB)

 

Create efficient data models and optimize database operations

 

Handle migrations and maintain data workflows

 

Cloud & Infrastructure

 

Deploy and manage backend systems on AWS/Azure/GCP

 

Work with CI/CD pipelines, Docker, Redis, S3, etc.

 

Ensure uptime, security, and scalability

 

Product Collaboration

 

Work with product managers, designers, and frontend developers

 

Contribute ideas during planning and feature discussions

 

Support architecture-related decision-making

 

Quality & Documentation

 

Write clean, testable, and maintainable code

 

Ensure backend security best practices

 

Maintain API and technical documentation
