Back End Developer

oladoc is building the future of digital healthcare in Pakistan and we’re looking for a talented PHP Backend / Software Engineer to help us scale smarter, faster, and better.

📍 Location: Full-time, on-site (DHA, Lahore)

👉 𝐖𝐡𝐚𝐭 𝐘𝐨𝐮'𝐥𝐥 𝐃𝐨

🔹Develop and maintain scalable backend systems using PHP (Laravel preferred)

🔹Design, build, and consume RESTful APIs

🔹 Experience with website SEO, core web vitals, best practices and implementation

🔹Work closely with frontend teams to create seamless, high-performance web experiences

🔹Translate product requirements into reliable and efficient solutions

🔹Write clean, well-documented code and participate in code reviews

🔹Help test and troubleshoot for stability and performance

🔹Bonus: Experience with JavaScript frameworks like React.js, Vue.js, or Next.js

👉 𝐘𝐨𝐮 𝐒𝐡𝐨𝐮𝐥𝐝 𝐇𝐚𝐯𝐞

✅ 2-3 years of experience in PHP backend

✅Strong command over PHP and familiarity with Laravel

✅Good understanding of API architecture and cloud-based systems

✅ Experience with website SEO, core web vitals, best practices and implementation

✅A degree in Computer Science or a related field

✅Problem-solving mindset and team collaboration skills
