Back End Developer

AlphaTach is on the lookout for a talented Backend Developer (Mid-Level) to join our growing team. If you're passionate about architecting scalable systems, optimizing backend infrastructure, and working on high-impact products—this is for you.

We're not just looking for someone who can write code. We want a strategic thinker who can build and maintain scalable microservices-based systems using Laravel, Core PHP, and Node.js, and who understands how modern backend systems scale, secure, and integrate.

🧠 What We’re Looking For

✅ Backend Architecture & Infrastructure (Must-Have)

Solid understanding of microservices-based architecture

Backend infrastructure planning with modular and maintainable design patterns

Experience with containerization (Docker), API gateways, and serverless architecture

✅ Backend Development

Strong grip on Core PHP, OOP, and Laravel (service providers, middleware, job queues)

Expertise in RESTful API development & maintenance

Integrating third-party APIs (especially payment gateways like Stripe, PayPal, Authorize.net, NMI, PayArc)

Hands-on experience with Node.js for asynchronous/event-driven services

Understanding of MVC architecture and writing clean, testable code

✅ Database & Data Modeling

Proficiency in MySQL and optimized query writing

Solid understanding of database schema design, normalization, and migrations

✅ DevOps & Cloud

Familiarity with AWS services (EC2, S3, RDS)

Understanding of Firebase, websockets, and real-time updates

Experience managing Linux servers, NGINX, SSL, and CI/CD pipelines

✅ Version Control & Collaboration

Solid knowledge of Git, branching strategies, and pull request workflows

Experience working in a collaborative team environment (GitHub/GitLab)
