Back End Developer

Description:

FIDSOR is hiring a Node.js Developer with experience in Unity-integrated gaming applications. The ideal candidate will have 2-3 years of hands-on experience in backend development for games and should be comfortable working in a fast-paced, creative environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and manage server-side logic for mobile/web gaming applications using Node.js.
• Build APIs and real-time communication systems to support multiplayer and interactive game features.
• Work closely with Unity developers to ensure seamless integration between backend and game engine.
• Design and implement scalable database solutions using MongoDB or similar.
• Optimize application performance and scalability for high-traffic gaming environments.
• Debug, test, and document backend services.

Requirements:

• 2-3 years of professional experience in Node.js development.
• Experience with Unity-based game backend integration.
• Strong understanding of RESTful APIs, WebSockets, and multiplayer gaming logic.
• Hands-on experience with NoSQL databases like MongoDB.
• Familiarity with game server architectures and real-time data handling.
• Strong problem-solving and debugging skills.
• Proficiency with Git version control.
