Description:
Tasks and responsibilities:
- Work with agile development teams to support the deployment of AWS services to support applications;
- Implement CI/CD pipelines to build and deploy applications to AWS services;
- Continuously monitor and record configuration changes of AWS resources;
- Follow industry best practices and UN policies on cybersecurity;
- Implement a robust Business Continuity/Disaster Recovery (BC/DR) architecture;
Profile
- Bachelor or Master degree;
- +3 years of hands-on experience supporting application build and deployment in a AWS Cloud environment;
- +2 years of hands-on experience with Terraform (Infrastructure as Code);
- Experience and deep understanding of core DevOps practices (Configuration Management, Continuous Integration, Infrastructure as Code, Continuous Delivery, Continuous Deployment, Continuous Monitoring);
- Experience and deep understanding of DevOps integration with automated testing and/or automation deployment verification;
- Experience and expertise in any of scripting languages and databases: Python, Terraform and MongoDB, Redis;
- Knowledge/experience with AWS services – EC2, ECS, ELB/ALB, Security Groups, Route53, IAM, KMS, Cognito, Secrets Manager, Parameter Store, Lambda, SES, SNS, SQS;
- Familiar with various Branching strategies, pull request concept and GIT commands and Bash;
- Knowledge/experience of Microservices architecture, Docker container implementation;
- Certification is an advantage;
- English language proficiency (oral and written);
