Kobe Motor Company is seeking an experienced and results-driven Automotive Sales Team Lead to oversee and manage international sales operations across African markets. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, extensive experience in automobile exports, and a proven ability to drive sales growth while leading a high-performing sales team.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead, coach, and motivate a team of International Sales Executives to achieve sales objectives and business targets.
- Develop and implement effective sales strategies to expand market presence and increase revenue across African regions.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, dealers, distributors, and business partners.
- Monitor team performance, sales pipelines, and conversion rates to ensure consistent achievement of targets.
- Identify new business opportunities, market trends, and customer requirements to support business growth.
- Assist team members in closing high-value deals and developing long-term customer relationships.
- Ensure exceptional customer service and timely resolution of customer inquiries and concerns.
- Collaborate with senior management to execute market expansion plans and promotional campaigns.
- Prepare sales forecasts, performance reports, and market analysis to support strategic decision-making.
Candidate Requirements
- Minimum 3–5 years of experience in international sales, including at least 1–2 years in a supervisory or team leadership role.
- Mandatory experience managing and developing business within African markets.
- Mandatory experience in the automobile export industry.
- Demonstrated success in achieving and exceeding sales targets.
- Strong leadership, coaching, communication, and team development skills.
- Excellent negotiation and relationship management abilities.
- Proficiency in English; additional African regional languages will be considered an advantage.
