Description:
As Assistant Engine Room Operator, your work will focus on the following responsibilities:
- Closely monitor and study faults and behavior of Engine, separators and other Equipment and report immediately.
- Maintain plant and its auxiliaries according to Contractual Obligation related to Fuel Oil/LO consumption.
- Follow LOTO and act for its implementation.
- During shift rounds check for any loose connection or bolt of clamp, support etc.
- Monitor all parameters of engine and auxiliaries during operation.
- Assist shift engineer for operation and maintenance.
- Utilize tools, equipment, accessories in such a manner to maximize useful operating life
- Take active part in trouble shooting and maintenance jobs during shift.
- Attend all engine room activities.
- Report to shift engineer in case of any abnormality.
