Responsibilities

As Associate Director of Commercial Systems Data, you will:

  • Create and own the vision, mission, and roadmap for the Commercial Systems Data team, to support strategic business initiatives, commercial processes, advanced analytics, and business operations.
  • Serve as subject matter experts, coordinating between Commercial Teams and project teams to ensure business data is understood, fit for purpose, and integrated into analytics platforms.
  • Enable the business to drive faster innovation and make decisions through the strategic use of its data
  • Ensure all data is compliant with up-to-date privacy regulations
  • Train the Commercial Team to ensure that they are aware of all privacy regulations and are compliant in their day-to-day processes
  • Identify areas and developing strategic initiatives for process improvements across different commercial systems and data related processes impacting Sales, Client Services, Order Administration, Marketing, and other internal commercial users/teams.
  • Create and lead all projects within the data team related to automation
  • Serve as a member of the systems product leadership team, collaborating with Product Owners, Support Team and stakeholders to ensure that data is delivered in a manner consistent with the quality requirements of the business
  • Drive a strong understanding of the data and its use within the business and across lines of business and functions, through collaborative partnerships with multiple stakeholders, including Product Owners, analytics leads, and business process owners
  • Lead and facilitate conversations between different business teams to implement lean processes to drive reliable data and analytics
  • Lead the data team to support the commercial month end close efforts by working with commercial and technology team, identifying, and implementing processes to reduce reoccurring data backfills.
  • Direct the development of processes to identify, monitor, and mitigate data risks for data in the Commercial ecosystem, including risks related to data protection, data retention and destruction, data storage, data use, and data quality
  • Help develop workflows and identify areas of efficiency for prioritized data projects.
  • Develop workflows for case management within the Data team
  • Act as main point of contact on behalf of commercial data team for data champions and senior stakeholders.

Basic Qualifications

What We’re Looking For:

  • Minimum 6 years of leadership experience working with large volumes of data
  • Able to manage, analyze and integrate data from multiple sources and in multiple formats with the end goal of creating a useful data sets.
  • Must have Strong Excel skills (Pivot tables, Macros, Index/If statements)
  • Must have work experience in Salesforce.
  • Must possess strong quantitative, analytical, and interpretive skills.
  • Strong written and oral communications skills a must
  • Experience creating and analyzing reports for data analysis
  • The candidate should possess strong organization, prioritization, problem identification, and problem-solving skills to manage internal workflows and client communication.
  • Ability to take initiative, use consultative skills and build strong, productive relationships.
  • Ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects and tasks concurrently while working in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines and specific requirements.
  • Experience implementing automated processes and tools
  • Keep abreast of AI best practices in SFDC, Marketo and other Commercial data platforms, and use this knowledge to enrich and advance the broader Commercial AI strategy.
  • Ability to coach team members to develop in areas of growth with the goal of nurturing people leaders, project leaders and/or subject matter experts
  • Ability to develop strong metrics of success, and design a rewards and recognition initiative to sustain high performance and positive team culture
