Z. M. T. & Co., Chartered Accountants is looking for a CA Qualified / CA Finalist to join our Taxation team as Assistant Manager – Taxation at our Lahore office.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and review tax returns, tax computations, withholding statements, and related filings.
- Handle corporate and individual tax compliance assignments.
- Assist in tax planning and advisory matters.
- Handle FBR notices, queries, audits, and other tax-related matters.
- Review taxation work prepared by junior team members and provide guidance.
- Coordinate with Audit, Assurance, and Advisory teams on tax-related matters.
- Keep updated with changes in tax laws, rules, regulations, and FBR notifications.
- Ensure timely completion and quality of client assignments.
Requirements
- CA Qualified or CA Finalist.
- Candidates from any department/articleship background are encouraged to apply.
- Taxation department/articleship experience will be preferred.
- Experience in a Chartered Accountancy firm or professional services environment will be an advantage.
- Good knowledge of Income Tax, Sales Tax, Withholding Tax, and relevant tax regulations.
- Strong analytical, numerical, communication, and client-handling skills.
- Good command of MS Excel and relevant accounting/tax software.
- Ability to manage multiple assignments and meet deadlines.
