Assistant Node.js Developer

Cubix Labs is seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Assistant Node.js Developer to join our innovative and collaborative tech team in Karachi. As an Assistant Node.js Developer, you will work under the guidance of senior developers to support ongoing projects, build robust backend functionalities, and contribute to scalable application development. The role demands a passion for learning, problem-solving, and collaboration in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in the development and maintenance of server-side applications using Node.js

• Collaborate with the development team to build and improve APIs, microservices, and backend modules

• Learn and implement best practices for database design, integration, and optimization

• Troubleshoot and resolve backend bugs or performance issues

• Participate in code reviews, team discussions, and agile workflows

• Maintain proper documentation for features and codebase

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical field

• Basic knowledge of JavaScript and Node.js

• Understanding of databases (SQL or NoSQL) and backend logic

• Familiarity with development tools and version control (Git) is a plus

• Strong desire to learn and contribute in a collaborative environment

• Good problem-solving, communication, and teamwork skills

Work Schedule:

• Timings: 12:00 PM to 9:00 PM (Monday to Saturday)

• Location: On-site – PECHS, Block 2, Karachi
