Assistant Manager Internal Audit

 

Description:

Key Responsibilities:

- Conduct audits of supply chain processes, including procurement, warehousing, and logistics to ensure efficiency and compliance.

- Review trade marketing and promotional spend for effectiveness and risk of leakage.

- Assess controls over distributor management, secondary sales, and return policies.

- Perform audits of manufacturing operations for cost control, wastage, and adherence to SOPs.

- Monitor controls over inventory movement, stock reconciliations, and shrinkage in depots/warehouses.

- Evaluate the effectiveness of internal controls in sales processes including discounts, schemes, and credit limits.

- Identify fraud risks and investigate irregularities across the value chain.

- Provide recommendations for process improvement and cost optimization aligned with business goals.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure timely implementation of audit recommendations.

- Oversee Inventory management, Budgeting, BOM, and Scrap Handling

 

Requirements:

- CA/ACCA/ICMA part qualified

-Audit-related certifications such as Certified Internal Auditor (CIA), Certified Internal Controls Auditor (CICA), or similar credentials will be an added advantage

- 2–3 years of internal Audit experience preferred in Manufacturing/FMCG.

- Attention to detail with strong organizational skills.

- Good written and verbal communication.
