Assistant Manager - Internal Audit

Description:

Responsible for completion of the assignments as per the annual audit plan and quality assurance of all the audit services. Verification of periodic (daily, weekly, monthly) transactions.
Responsible for the execution of the day to day tasks relevant to all audit activities.
Roles & Responsibilities
- Execution of the assignments in line with the yearly audit plan.
- Developing and executing the audit programs as per the applicable policies, procedures and regulations.
- Conducting of divisional / periodic internal audits and assisting the Head in the preparation of reports on internal controls, highlighting control weaknesses along with recommendations for improvement in internal controls.
- Consolidate audit working papers, audit evidences and draft Audit Report of work performed.
- Follow-up of the open items / findings identified from the audit assignments.
- Ensuring quality assurance of all the assignments performed.
- Verification of vouchers, reconciliations, periodic schedules, etc.
- Financial analysis of annual / interim /quarterly financial statements.
- Managing the divisional record keeping in line with the approved policies and procedures.
- Assisting the teams in execution of the assignments and day to day tasks where required.
-Assisting the Head of the division in finalization of the audit committee agendas.
- Conducting any other special assignments as directed by the Head of Internal Audit.
Education:
Preferably Masters in Finance / Commerce or equivalent.
Professional Qualification: CA - Inter/ACCA/ CIA/ CISA.
Experience:
Minimum 3 years in the field of Audit. Experience of management audits would be a plus.
