Assistant Manager

 

Description:

Ismail Industries Limited is seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Assistant Manager – Supply Planner to drive efficient supply and material planning, optimize inventory levels, and ensure seamless coordination across functions at our Head Office in Karachi.

Key Responsibilities:
- Develop daily, weekly, and monthly production schedules aligned with demand forecasts and business requirements.
- Ensure effective capacity planning in line with operational capabilities and demand requirements.
- Calculate material requirements using MRP (Material Requirements Planning) to support uninterrupted production.
- Ensure timely availability of materials and coordinate closely with procurement teams for supply follow-ups.
- Contribute to inventory optimization by minimizing stockouts, excess inventory, and obsolescence risks.
- Collaborate with factory, marketing, sales, and finance teams to ensure alignment on delivery timelines.
- Utilize Excel, ERP/MRP systems, and SAP for production and material management.
- Analyze and monitor key KPIs including production reliability, inventory DOH, and service levels (DR/CCFOT).

Qualifications & Skills:
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Engineering, Business, or a related field
- 3 years of relevant experience in the FMCG sector
- Strong analytical and organizational skills
- Proficiency in MS Excel and SAP systems
- Sound understanding of production processes and supply chain operations
- Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities effectively
- Strong communication, coordination, and teamwork abilities
