Coats is seeking an Assistant Manager – Health & Safety to ensure the effective implementation of H&S policies, compliance with local regulations, and promotion of a strong safety culture across our operations. This role is critical in maintaining workplace safety, driving audits, and ensuring a proactive approach to risk management.
🔑 Key Responsibilities:
Implement & maintain H&S policies and management systems in line with local legislation.
Develop and enforce safety guidelines tailored to local and global standards.
Conduct internal safety audits, inspections, and risk assessments.
Deliver safety training for employees, contractors, and visitors.
Monitor and analyze site H&S data to ensure compliance and quality reporting.
Investigate incidents and near misses; recommend preventive measures.
Maintain accurate H&S documentation and ensure timely reporting.
Track performance against H&S KPIs and prepare dashboards/reports for management.
✅ Requirements:
Graduate in Science; IOSH / NEBOSH certification preferred.
2–3 years of experience managing H&S matters in a manufacturing environment.
Strong understanding of safety audits, inspections, and compliance management.
Excellent communication, analytical, and reporting skills.
