Platinum Pharmaceuticals (Pvt.) Ltd., a reputable name in the pharmaceutical industry, is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Assistant Manager for New Product Development (NPD) to join their team at Port Qasim, Karachi. This pivotal role focuses on leading and managing the development of innovative pharmaceutical products across multiple dosage forms.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead new product development projects, from initial concept through formulation and commercialization.

• Develop and optimize pharmaceutical formulations for various dosage forms including tablets, capsules, and liquid preparations.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including R&D, quality assurance, and manufacturing to ensure smooth project execution.

• Manage timelines, resources, and documentation related to product development projects.

• Implement and maintain compliance with regulatory guidelines and company policies.

• Utilize SAP for project tracking and inventory management (experience in SAP is preferred).

• Mentor and guide junior team members to build a strong NPD team.

Candidate Requirements:

• Pharm-D degree with a strong background in pharmaceutical sciences.

• Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience in New Product Development within a large pharmaceutical organization.

• In-depth knowledge of formulation techniques and product development processes for tablets, capsules, and liquids.

• Strong leadership skills with proven ability to manage projects and teams effectively.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

• Experience working with SAP systems is an added advantage.
