American Safety Pakistan is seeking an experienced Assistant Manager – Social Compliance to join our team at KEPZ, Karachi. This is a key role in ensuring that our operations meet local and international standards related to labor rights, ethical business practices, and sustainability. As Assistant Manager, you will oversee the implementation of social compliance audits and corrective action plans, maintain certifications, and contribute to driving continuous improvement in our supply chain practices.

Key Responsibilities:

• Social Compliance Audits: Lead and manage social compliance audits (BSCI, SEDEX, WRAP, etc.) ensuring full adherence to ethical standards and customer Codes of Conduct (COC).

• Compliance Adherence: Ensure compliance with local and international labor laws, and environmental standards (ISO, GRS, GOTS).

• Training and Awareness: Conduct training sessions on health and safety, labor rights, and compliance best practices for teams across various functions.

• Corrective Action Plans: Oversee the development and execution of corrective action plans based on audit findings, ensuring timely implementation.

• Stakeholder Liaison: Work with auditors, internal teams, and stakeholders to maintain certifications and address compliance-related issues.

• Continuous Improvement: Drive initiatives to improve sustainability and ethical supply chain practices, with a focus on long-term impact and responsibility.

Who We’re Looking For:

• Educational Background: Bachelor’s or Master’s in Social Sciences, HR, or Business.

• Experience: 3–5 years in social compliance, preferably within the apparel/textile industry.

• Knowledge: Strong understanding of BSCI, SEDEX, WRAP, ISO 14001/45001, and audit management processes.

• Skills: Excellent communication, documentation, and project management skills with the ability to lead and execute complex tasks.

• Integrity & Detail-Oriented: A problem-solver with high integrity and keen attention to detail.
