Assistant Manager

Description:

AGILE is seeking a dynamic and experienced Assistant / Deputy Manager – Production for one of its leading home textile manufacturing clients based in SITE Area, Karachi. This role is ideal for a driven individual with hands-on experience in textile production and a proven track record of managing teams, optimizing floor operations, and achieving production goals in a fast-paced environment.

The selected candidate will be responsible for overseeing day-to-day production activities, managing workflow on the shop floor, and ensuring that production targets and quality standards are consistently met. A strong understanding of home textile production processes will be considered a significant advantage.

Key Responsibilities include:

• Supervising floor-level operations and ensuring timely and efficient production output.

• Leading, managing, and mentoring production teams to meet established performance and productivity targets.

• Monitoring production workflows, identifying bottlenecks, and implementing process improvements to enhance efficiency.

• Coordinating with planning, quality, and supply chain departments to ensure seamless operations.

• Ensuring strict compliance with quality standards and production timelines.

• Preparing production reports and providing regular updates to senior management.

Key Requirements:

• Minimum 4–5 years of experience in a textile manufacturing environment.

• Must currently be serving at the Assistant Manager level for at least the past 2 years.

• Strong leadership, team management, and production oversight skills.

• Sound understanding of process management and quality control practices.

• Prior experience with home textile production will be considered a strong advantage.
