Assistant Accountant

Description:

This is a full time on site role for an Assistant Accountant located in Lahore. The Assistant Accountant will be responsible for managing day to day financial transactions, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and bank reconciliations. Additional responsibilities include managing payroll, preparing financial statements, assisting with budget preparation, and ensuring compliance with financial regulations and company policies. Collaboration with other departments to generate financial reports and support key decision-making processes is also a key aspect of this position.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in accounting principles, financial reporting, and budget preparation
• Experience with accounts payable, accounts receivable, and bank reconciliations
• Excellent analytical, organisational, and problem solving skills
• Attention to detail and accuracy in managing financial data
• Good communication skills for collaboration and reporting to stakeholders
• Ability to meet deadlines and prioritise tasks effectively
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other financial tools
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (ACCA or other accounting certifications preferred)
• Previous experience in the logistics or freight forwarding industry is an advantage

• Managing accounts receivable and conducting payment follow ups
