Virtual IP LLC, a U.S.-based IT services and consulting company, is looking for a motivated AI Intern to join our technical team.
This internship is specifically designed for students who are currently enrolled in a university degree program and want to gain practical, hands-on experience working on Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning projects.
We are primarily looking for 3rd- or 4th-year students who have already completed academic, personal, freelance, or university-based AI/ML projects.
This opportunity is intended for currently enrolled students rather than graduates.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in developing and testing AI and Machine Learning solutions.
- Work on practical AI/ML projects under the guidance of the technical team.
- Support data collection, cleaning, preprocessing, and analysis.
- Train, evaluate, and improve Machine Learning models.
- Assist with Generative AI and Large Language Model (LLM) related projects.
- Research AI tools, models, frameworks, and emerging technologies.
- Work with APIs and integrate AI functionality into applications where required.
- Document experiments, results, technical processes, and project findings.
- Collaborate with developers and other technical team members on ongoing projects.
Requirements
- Currently enrolled in a Bachelor's degree program in:
- Artificial Intelligence
- Computer Science
- Data Science
- Software Engineering
- Computer Engineering
- or a related technical field.
- 3rd or 4th-year university students are strongly preferred.
- Candidates should have completed at least one or more AI, Machine Learning, Data Science, or Generative AI projects.
- Basic to intermediate proficiency in Python.
- Understanding of fundamental Machine Learning concepts.
- Familiarity with libraries or frameworks such as Pandas, NumPy, Scikit-learn, TensorFlow, or PyTorch is preferred.
- Exposure to Generative AI, LLMs, NLP, Computer Vision, or AI APIs is an advantage.
- Familiarity with Git/GitHub is preferred.
- Good problem-solving, analytical, and research skills.
- Ability to learn independently and work effectively in a remote environment.
