Application Engineer

Description:

embinx is looking for a passionate Qt/C++ Application Engineer to join our team and help build high-performance applications for real-world systems. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys writing clean C++ code, building responsive user interfaces with QML, and solving complex software challenges in desktop or embedded environments.

💼 What you’ll do:

• Build new modules and features using Qt 6.x and C++17
• Develop and refine user interfaces using QML / Qt Quick
• Debug and maintain existing applications using GDB or Qt Creator
• Work with SQLite/SQL and connectivity protocols such as REST APIs, WebSockets, or MQT
• Write unit tests and participate in peer code reviews
• Support application optimization for memory usage and startup performance

👤 What we’re looking for:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or Electrical Engineering
• Strong understanding of OOP, STL, and memory management
• Hands-on experience with Qt, Signals & Slots, Event Loop, and basic QML
• Good command of Git workflows including branching, merging, and pull requests
• Strong problem-solving and debugging skills
