Key Responsibilities
- Market Intelligence: Conduct deep-dive market research and trend analysis to shape upcoming kidswear collections.
- Material Sourcing: Identify and source high-quality fabrics and trims while ensuring strict adherence to production timelines.
- Vendor Management: Lead coordination with vendors for sampling and production, ensuring all garment specifications are met with precision.
- Costing & Negotiations: Manage the supply chain and pricing strategies to meet budget targets without compromising quality.
- Quality Assurance: Monitor production workflows and implement rigorous quality control measures throughout the manufacturing cycle.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with design, marketing, and logistics teams to ensure seamless project execution.
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of experience in Apparel Merchandising, specifically within the Kidswear segment.
- Proven track record in fabric selection, costing, and vendor coordination.
- Strong negotiation skills and ability to manage production schedules independently.
- Excellent visualization skills regarding garment outcomes and fit.
