Android Ar/computer Vision Developer

Description:

We are looking for an experienced Android Developer with strong expertise in ARCore, Camera2 API, and computer vision to build a mobile application.

This role requires hands-on experience with low-level camera APIs, depth estimation (ARCore + AI models like MiDaS/MonoDepth2), and USB data streaming.

🔹 Key Responsibilities

Mobile App (Android):

• Develop Android application using Camera2 API for high-resolution RGB capture (up to 4K).

• Implement depth estimation pipelines using ARCore Depth API, stereo vision, and monocular AI-based models (e.g., MiDaS, MonoDepth2).

• Integrate advanced camera controls (exposure, ISO, white balance, zoom, focus).

• Implement automatic stereo calibration with persistent parameter storage.

• Build USB-based data streaming for synchronized RGB + depth frames.

• Create real-time previews (RGB + depth visualization).

• Implement LED control via USB commands.

• Optimize for battery performance (auto cutoff at 80% charge).

🔹 Requirements

• 5+ years Android development with strong Camera2 API experience.

• Hands-on with ARCore Depth API and depth sensing techniques.

• Experience with computer vision models (MiDaS, MonoDepth2, TFLite/ONNX).

• Strong knowledge of USB communication protocols on Android.

• Familiarity with OpenGL/3D rendering for previews.

• Good understanding of performance optimization for real-time apps.

• (Nice to Have) Experience with PC visualization frameworks (Open3D, PCL, Unity, or Unreal Engine).
