Role Description The AI Video Editor is responsible for creating, editing, and refining video content using both traditional editing tools and AI-powered workflows. This remote role involves assembling raw footage, syncing audio, applying transitions, and integrating motion graphics to produce polished videos for marketing campaigns, social media, and brand storytelling. Daily tasks include collaborating with creative strategists and designers, optimizing videos for various platforms and formats, and maintaining brand consistency across all visual outputs. The AI Video Editor will experiment with AI tools for tasks such as scene selection, rough cuts, captions, and visual enhancements to improve efficiency and quality. The role also includes organizing project files, managing version control, and delivering assets on deadline while following creative briefs and brand guidelines.

Important Requirements Animation skills are very important for this role.

If you can only cut clips, add subtitles and place images on a timeline, this position may not be the right fit.

We are specifically looking for someone who can take visual elements and animate them properly using AI motion tools, keyframes, transitions, camera movement, zooms, effects and other techniques to make the final video feel dynamic and professionally produced.

Qualifications

• Strong skills in Video Production and Video Editing, with experience creating content for digital and social media platforms.
• Proficiency in Video Color Grading and visual enhancement to ensure consistent, high-quality look and feel across projects.
• Ability to design and integrate Motion Graphics and Graphics that support storytelling and brand identity.
• Comfort working with AI-driven video tools (e.g., AI-assisted editing, automated captioning, content repurposing) and willingness to adopt new technologies.
• Experience with industry-standard editing and motion tools (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, DaVinci Resolve, or similar).
• Strong visual storytelling skills, attention to detail, and ability to interpret creative briefs into compelling video content.
• Effective remote collaboration skills, including clear communication, time management, and reliable workflow practices.
• Relevant education or training in film, media, design, or a related field is beneficial; a portfolio showcasing video and motion work is required.
